PPR requirments

Hi Golnaz,

I am going to send my early this week. i should purchase 2 of the PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), right?...For the second return mail envelope, did you fold it and send it together with your other documents?.

The e-mail says to fold the return mail and i was thinking if folding might destroy my return mail envelope or if i should purchase a smaller size return mail. Let me know what you did...Appreciate your help. My e-cas changed to decision made. How about yours?. Thank You

Unfortunately, I cann't check my status since Feb 1st ...That's really annoying! I hope they send my passport soon, and I won't care about the ecas anymroe

So what happens after your Passport is returned ? What are the steps after that ? Do you go ahead for the Landing and if we are already in Canada, then do we need to get a US visa to do the landing ??

Yes the next and last step is landing
if you are in Canada, you either make appointment with CIC office in your city or landing in border!
I know in Niagara falls, you can make a u-turn in the peace bridge and therefore you won't need US visa!
You can go to rainbow bridge too, if you don't have US visa, they will reject you and you come back to Canada and do your landing (not recommended with most people)!

I'm in Kitchener, so planning to make an appointment in Kitchener office. I guess you can make appointment in any office, not necessary the closest to you! I believe some of them are busier and give you appointment in 3-4 weeks or even later!
I know someone in Kitchener who made the appointment in 1 week which is quite good timing ... and promising

Canada post address! If you decide to go with Fedex , DHL or such then you use courier address. Bust since you are in canada I think canadapost is good enough!

Yes, you are correct! send self address envelope, passport, biodata form! I also sent a copy of the email and a note saying that I email my receipt!

I am asking this bcos I am in canada on implied status from jan 01 2013 and i got work permit last week. So i do not have valid canada visa in passport for this year. It will take 4 ot 5 weeks to get TRV embossed in my passport. I do not want to do this now instead go for Permanent resident visa on passport.

Pls suggest me if htis is possible??

I don't think you need any visa in your passport! and don't need to send your work permit!
The reason that they ask for passport is to issue you an entry visa to Canada! That's just my opinion ...

Yes I saw the email that you posted on April's thread It's same as mine!
I paid online, printed the receipt, filled it up, scanned it and emailed it to them.
I sent them my passport, biodata form, and the copy of their email. Also I add a note that I already emailed them the receipt! Also a prepaid xpresspost envelope !

you need to print the receipt, then write your name, birthday, client ID, address, postal code, and phone number , then scan and email it to them
