Postdoctoral work permit

Hi all,
My work permit application as a postdoctoral fellow was refused and I am willing to re apply.
The reason of rejection is that the officer is not satisfied that I will leave Canada after the authorized stay is over.
I am applying with my wife (open work permit).
I wan to show documents that my parents are currently residing at my home country and as an elder son I have the responsibility to come back home and take care of them.
I do not have properties or current employment status.
Do you think having parents at home country is enough as evidence of leaving Canada after the authorized stay is over?

No - Your parents are not a strong tie. What other evidence of ties can you show?

I have graduated with Ph.D My investment was in my educational training and I am only 30 years old. Hence, I have no properties..The Job offer from the Canadian university was the first that I have received right after my Ph.D completion so I have no Employment history. The University is interested in me cause of my publications and the accomplishment I did in research.
Can you suggest anything ?
