Once you are done with the RQ and after RQ submission you get test date. Is the interview very light or still it is thorough? I want any post RQ applicant experience. I am asking this because RQ submission is so detailed that I don't feel there is much to talk at the interview. Please share any recent experiences please.. so all of us can benefit..

I am a pretest RQ case. In my case, it was an exam and a straight forward interview... Checked my passport for stamps, matched those against the dates in my application, checked my PR card and my landing papers. Asked about my trips outside and their purpose and about my current job....Thats about it. Took maybe 5-7 minutes max for my interview...
My personal opinion is that the experience depends from person to person and case to case. I would say, if you meet the requirements and have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear. Be truthful and take a chill pill. With a RQ you should not be expecting a commnication ever week from CIC

thanks for sharing your experience. if a person was living outside canada and then moves to canada that entry will it be discussed in detail? lets say we all have to declare 4 years and if his initial 1 year was non resident canadian then he decides to move and file citizenship after 3 years completion will it be negative on file
Not sure I completely understand your question. The bottom line is that in the last 4 year you have to be physically in Canada for 3 years. If you are less than that, yes it will be a problem and you may be referred to a citizenship judge. My advise if you havent filed your papers yet would be to wait and file to give yourself some buffer. Hope this helps.

if someone gets RQ after test and he withdraws his application. Is the test result saved for future and for how long. I am asking this as if that person re applies in future can his test result from his previous withdrawal application be used in his second application. I mean is it like IELTS that you can use the results for upto 2 years.

I am not an expert, but my view is that CIC always says that if for some reason an application is withdrawn, the whole process would be restarted. Hence, I would assume that includes even the test and the test needs to be retaken. By the same logic, if someone fails the test the first time, and withdraws the application, it doesnt mean that the next time he applies, he would again be failed because the first test result was a fail.
