My wife was trying to get admission in “Diploma in Early childhood care and education”.
It is a two year course.
Finally, She got offer letter from Red Deer College, Alberta, but College gave offer letter for “Certificate in Early childhood care and education” (this is one year course) and said first, she have to complete certificate course then after complication of certificate, next offer letter will be issued for Diploma.(Total it is two years study programme)
Regarding this, I have three questions.
1. Is it normal thing, Issuing offer letter for certificate first and then for Diploma?
2. After completion of this course, Will She be eligible for Post Graduation Work Permit? Actually, we are confused with the term “Post Graduation Work Permit” and she got admission in certificate course and then Diploma course?
3. As college is recommending her for first completion of certificate programme and then Diploma programme,
In this case, total tenure of her study in Canada will be two years so will she be eligible three years of work permit or two years?
