Applied July 30th, but it is very strange, some folks from early June still waiting, and some others applications such as July 22 have been approved

Status biometrics pending, Anyone with similar case?

Also May applicant here, my biometrics status is "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes." is this your previous status before pending?

Do you mean from based on the home/mailing address entered in the form for the application? or where was I physically present when I submitted the application?

At that time I was present in Toronto, but my home/mail address is in Alberta. Is there any difference?

Processing time reduced to 142 days.

I applied for trv processing time is 57 days, my question is can I get my passport sticker in india if I submitted there with passport request letter and explanation letter?

People have done that, make a new post and ask members.
Just be careful since many people outside Canada have reported their VAC's are still closed.

For those who have received their work permit, how long did it take for you to receive the permit after it got approved? Mine got approved on Oct. 7th and I haven't received the permit yet.

Call IRCC, they will have all details with regards to when it was mailed etc.
