Strange case of mine:

applied: 29 June
request for transcript: 22 Oct
No update since then. I submitted my transcript long long ago through webmail but seems they never update, also change of address. Hope this week they will remember to touch my file again...

Upload your transcript again if you already haven't after they have asked for and call IRCC to confirm. And good luck, hope you get it soon.

But got 17 months work permit only after studying 2 years any solution or advise please

I would call and ask about it. Someone else had a similar issue some months ago and it was rectified

Guys my application was approved on 12th October but still I did not get work permit hard copy in mail.
Anyone know how much time it will take and shall I call to IRCC for work permit hard copy.
Please help

If you are inside Canada, it normally takes about 5 business days. I would call them to verify

It was taking too much to process
So I decided to flagpole and i got my pgwp through flagpole. So i wanted to know is there any option we can withdraw online application and get refund?

Hi guys,

FYI

I applied online for extension (due to early passport expiry) of my PGWP on July 10. I requested for its withdrawal (reason was that I am afraid it will be refused because I applied online instead of paper) on August 13. I submitted application for a new work permit (closed work permit) using my SINP nomination on August 19. But then today (October 30), I got my online PGWP extension application approved. Validity completed a 3-year work permit granted to me overall.

First, they can approve ONLINE pgwp extension application. But yes maybe, it depends on whoever handles your case.
Second, they may not honor a request for withdrawal of an application. It was with a heavy heart that I requested for its withdrawal anyway.
I cannot complain with the result. I am gladdened by it.

What did the ircc letter actually say, it seems strange that they would tell him to reapply if they thought he was that late. Also it is over 180 days now, I dont think he can apply now. Maybe try calling and having the file reopened.

What does the law say?
What the aplicant should do now?
reapply with an explanation letter and corrected date documents or call cic to reopen the file?
The visa officer gave him 30 days to update his status.
Anyone familiar with such situation?
