Processing time has been increased to 142 days for PGWP online.
Just to confirm, are both of you Inland? And, which work permit did you upload as your PGWP is yet to arrive? Thanks in advance.SOWP applied on 23 April 2021, documents requested on 4 May 2022 (Work Permit, Job contract)
PGWP applied on 17 January 2022 still waiting for decision!!
Okay but people who applied before it said 133 days so will that remain the same for us?Processing time has been increased to 142 days for PGWP online.
I applied on 14th Jan and there is nothing yet. Someone applied on 15th Jan and 30th Jan and they got approved. Like what the fuck manA lot of January applications got approved already. It is random.
The estimated processing time is updated based on how long is took them to process most applications in the last 6 months. - this being said, it is not 100% clear if the estimate processing time is the one at the time of your application or if the current one. I'd say the current one since your application is not over 6 months old, and that is the average of most applications. Either way, 11 days is not a huge difference when most of us have been waiting for over four months.Okay but people who applied before it said 133 days so will that remain the same for us?
But 133 days is not 6 months though. Did you get yours though and when did you apply? The estimated processing time is updated based on how long is took them to process most applications in the last 6 months. - this being said, it is not 100% clear if the estimate processing time is the one at the time of your application or if the current one. Is 6 months the average for processing inland or outland applications? It seems that there is a difference in the processing times for inland or outland applications. The estimated processing time is updated based on how long is took them to process most applications in the last 6 months. - this being said, it is not 100% clear if the estimate processing time is the one at the time of your application or if the current one. Yes you have to apply for it from within Canada. I hired an agent for this purposeHello...am outside canada ..am I eligible to apply for GCMS notes as it's states in website one should be in canada ?
Yes, but the estimated processing time is based in how long took them to process PGWP applications on average in the last six months. But 133 days is not 6 months though. Did you get yours though and when did you apply?
The length of the EX-WP letter doesn't affect your implied status. - You can continue working past the expiration of that letter - the letter is issued automatically with 120 days because that is the service standard to process PGWP applications, but service standard and actual processing times might be different depending on how many applications have to be processed and other factors. Is 6 months the average for processing inland or outland applications? Anyway, it doesn't feel right that we have an implied status for only 4 months when the processing time takes 6 months on average. Shouldn't we receive an extension that covers the processing time?
I am currently not working since I couldn't find a job in the field I have been studying. I'm still searching for a job. However, employers are not very excited to hire someone in the limbo. Or so I was told by a prospective employer. I guess I am not getting this job either. The length of the EX-WP letter doesn't affect your implied status. - You can continue working past the expiration of that letter - the letter is issued automatically with 120 days because that is the service standard to process PGWP applications, but service standard and actual processing times might be different depending on how many applications have to be processed and other factors.

Sorry to hear that! Job hunting sucks - You wouldn't want to work for an employer like that anyway...fingers crossed we will get the permit before the end of May/beginning of June.I am currently not working since I couldn't find a job in the field I have been studying.
