Hey mizzdanish,

Welcome to the POS thread ;D If you click on the POS spreadsheet link (at the bottom of my posts), you can see where everyone is from. If you'd like, you can send us your info (if you've already applied) such as what date you sent your application and what date you got sponsor approval and I can add you to the spreadsheet too.

We all like to help each other out in here and answer questions and such.. so if you have any questions for us, let us know!

@mizzda on your other post you said the RCMP expired already, then why would you send it? unless you dont want to see your hubby in this decade u need to do things right, now he needs to do his RCMP again before u send it in or if you want u can send it in without the RCMP and they will ask for it down the line so its yur choice.

just to clearify the RCMP is the fingerprints and record check for canada right? how can he do this if hes not here?

there is a form on the website you can send for him to fill out and send back to you so you can apply for it, but like i said if its to much trouble and being he might be out for almost a year i would wait for POS to ask for it, but if u want to be proactive i recommend you go on the site and get that form and email it to him.

ah ok perfect, im sending him the other stuff to sign tmrw so good thing you told me that :)

Hello,

Where in the documents does it say that you need an RCMP fingerprints/background check? My husband was also here for a few years and had to go back but i did not see that anywhere in the checklist of documents that needed to be provided.

Kind of worried now.

Cheers.

yeah i just looked on the site and it says he has to get his fingerprints done there... we are already doing that... im confused lol

@can if you check the application form it say you need a background check for a country he has been in for the last 6 months. look carefully but if u didnt send it POS will ask for it eventually it will just slow down your app a little longer.

@mizzdanish yes he also needs to get his finger prints done in the country of his birth as well, but that is easy he can just go down to the station and have it done. POS is very strick on bringing criminals to their shores so they needs to know that you dont have any criminal background or neither did u do any crime in the country you were in for the last 6 monhts.
