Police clearance in Abu Dhabi?

Does anyone here tried to get a police clearance in Abu Dhabi while in Canada? We landed in March 2011 but i went back to Abu Dhabi to work for another year so it seems I need a police clearance to apply for citizenship. Please advise what is the best way to obtain a PC in Abu Dhabi. Thank you.

You might consider calling UAE Consulate and ask for the procedure. May be they can verify your records and issue a clearance certificate.
