My soon to be husband has been in the UK for past 8 years as student . File was still being processed for permanent residency. I am from Canada, so now we both decided to go to India and get married. I will sponsor him as a spouse while he remains in India.
Question. He does need a police certifiicste from the UK , and they will process it, without a problem.. The potential issue is that his indian passport is expired. He will be going back go India on travel documents and renew it in India. The police verification from uk, said they will process it but show passport status as expired. Will the expired status cause any problems.? I am worried
