Hi all. I would just like to ask if applying on the MPNP iis also based on points system? I dont see that on the Manitoba website but the consultancy firm that we consulted was calculating the points for our education, experience etc.. and he told us that the passing mark is 55. my husband and i both passed but i was wondering as to where could i see that points system on the manitoba website.
Can someone please help me with this? Thank you so much.

Hi kcee. MPNP General stream is based on a point system. The other streams (priority) are not, but there are eligibility criteria to be satisfied. Read the MPNP kit in the Manitoba immigration website. Unfortunately, sometimes Canadian immigration consultancy agencies in the Phils. give inaccurate information. You don't need them to apply because you can do everything on your own. Just do a little more reading and research and you will know all the information you will need regarding eligibility and the process itself.

thank you so much carl! you've always bee so helpful.
probably you can answer my other question again. My husband just completed 2 years of his 4 year course here in the Philippines. will that qualify him as high school graduate only? i have my masters degree in nursing with relevant nursing work experience but i want my husband to be the principal applicant because i have hepatitis b. they might see that as a threat to public health considering that i am a nurse.
thank you so much.
