If he didn't put $12 000 in his EE profile, he wouldn't have qualified for FSW....anyway, keep us posted pls.
Exactly!! But he modified his profile after he got his ITA. and then, he was never asked for pof.
Let's see what happens. I'll keep you posted.

Hi doobie... Any update on what happened to your friend's application please? I am very eager to hear the outcome.

Hi,

I got ITA today (20th draw) under CEC.
I have a valid job offer with LMIA.

I was asked to submit the POF....I really dont know why I was asked but as they asked me I am submitting the POF.

I kept 0 funds when I created profile and my profile showed eligible for CEC and not eligible for FSW!

I got an ITA today so next steps would be all documents to gather

If I am already working in Canada then do I need to show $11,601 as funds or any whatever I have in my bank account?

Thanks,
Vinesh

Guys...will be ok....i change in 0 after ITA,and i just got PPR today and they never ask me for bank statement...

That's great and congratulations

In my documents list I will just submit my bank statement with the net balance on it so they would not return to me asking to submit POF

what are the additional documents requested by CIC??

For CEC applicants, no pof is required.
The pof is required only in case for FSW, and it can also be waived if you have filed your application under FSW and you have a valid job offer.

You dredged up an old thread discussing old rules. Instead, you could be reading IRCC's website for current rules.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1145&top=29

"Note: You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.

The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."

Hi Experts,

My last step and last question before uploading the docs for Express entry

I am in Canada, working since 13 months, received ITA under CEC.

Before getting the ITA, I mentioned 12500 in the section of how much funds I am going to get in Canada.

Now once I had mentioned 12.5k then will it be nice to show 12.5k as POF or should I go ahead and change the amount to 0$, as funds are not required for CEC class???? Which option is best for me.

will CIC find it weird if I change it to 0$.
For a safer side if I show 12500$ as POF then will it be fine?

Kindly reply experts.
