PNP PROCESS TIME IN ABU DHABI OFFICE

Dear All,
I am PNP Applicant. AOR 26TH October 2015 currently residing in Saudi Arabia and believe Abu Dhabi is my local VO and not Saudi Arabia or London office as I am PNP Nominated applicant please correct me.
Also is ADVO office fast or very slow for PNP Nominated applicants under EE Program, my AOR is 26th October on 24th march I will complete my 150 days so can I expect PPR in my fifth month period or it may cross 6 month +

I am just new here in this forum and currently in the processing of adding our new born baby. AOR received last January and waiting for our MR. I have requested CIC thru CSE to provide me with the updated requirements for adding a dependent but one month past but no reply. I am not really sure if this CSE channel is properly maintained by CIC. Would it be possible for you to share the email address to whom you communicated when you added your new born? In this was I can just send them an email request for the requirements..

If it's through VFS, are they going to deliver it back to you or you still have to get it from them?
Does the fee includes delivery cost?

Hi Znarfier, We sent our passports through VFS. With VFS there is a fee of 161 AED per passport + 5 AED each for the SMS notification, so for the 4 of us we paid a total of 664 AED. We opted to pick up the passports from VFS once they are ready for collection.

If you want to send it by courier, I will suggest sending it with FedEx or DHL, this is because I have had TERRIBLE experience with Aramex before wherein it took them a week to deliver a package within Dubai (domestic package) despite of numerous calls from the consignee to update the address (and even gave a landmark!) so for this reason, if I will send the passports to the embassy, I'd rather use FedEx or DHL , will cost you roughly 30+ AED not sure of the exact price but I believe should not be more than 50 AED. The only thing is, if you submit the passports directly to the embassy, you will have no choice but to include a return AWB through Aramex (i think this is the only courier the embassy accepts for return).

I have just checked the application status on ECAS today and it now shows Decision Made Praying to get the stamped passports soon!

According to VFS it is a minimum of 15 days but could take up to a month (or more - let's hope not! yay!). We went with VFS as it was stated on the PPR that it is the embassy's "preferred" method and because with them you at least have a means of tracking the status of your passports. Also, I have to admit I am just so uneasy if the return of the passports would be through Aramex - because of the nightmarish experience I had with them.

uaepinay, early on this thread, I used to read from applicants using ARAMEX when sending their PPs to ADVO. On the otherhand, Aprillove8's past personal experience is also valid. So... good luck and may you pick the right choice!

CIC (now IRCC) is looking for a way to reduce processing time and have started moving files globally. Which means a file might not be handled by the closest visa office anymore.

Why did processing times information change?

Prior to December 31, 2015, processing times for many of our services were displayed by visa office. This was useful when applications for permanent or temporary residence were always processed by the nearest visa office. However, we now have the ability to move applications around our global network to ensure they are processed as efficiently as possible. This means your application may not be processed at the office closest to where you live.

For many services, instead of asking about your nearest visa office, you are now asked for your country of residence. This provides you with a more accurate processing time. For other services, you may see a single processing time, no matter where you live. This is our commitment to process applications within that time. These processing times are updated on a weekly basis.
