According to your timeline below, your application clock at CIC stage to date is barely = 6.5 months in total

CIO: July 2, 2015 to AOR: Sept. 8, 2015 = 2 months only!!!

AOR: Sept. 8, 2015 to Medical request: Jan. 27, 2016 = 4.5 months

PPR = Mar ? ;D

WOW! ;)

aprillove8 & uaepinay, hope mine will be as fast as yours!

Hi Znarfier! yes. let's hope for the best!

To be honest, I've been following the forum for quite sometime and one guy i was following got his visa in a matter of 6 months! CIO to medical request for him has only taken 4 months, then another 1 1/2 months for his PPR.

Hi! was it one week after the clinic/ hospital confirmed they have sent your results to CIC or 1 week after you went to the clinic to do the tests? I was wondering why our ecas hasn't changed yet...

I actually have a bit of a concern... my 2 kids did their upfront medical in St.Lukes (Phil) last June and we submitted the e-medical form with our paper application to CIO but we still received the medical request for them. We tried to do another medical for them as we didn't want to waste time waiting on ADVO's reply to our email (we e-mailed ADVO to ask whether the children need to re-do the medical but have not received any reply) but the clinic said the results are still valid and they refused to do medicals for the kids.

We have e-mailed ADVO a couple of times, attached all the e-medical information sheets/ tracker for the four of us but they are not replying :( this actually is causing me too much stress and worry :(

Clinic advise us to call after 3 days after medical was done, and they confirmed also that they already submitted the report thru email to ADVO. Did you call the clinic after 3 days, check with them they will tell you if they already submitted the report to ADVO.

Medical results from Panel physician are not being directly submitted to Visa Office. Panel Physician sending the medical file / e-medical to regional medical officer & for ADVO its based in New Delhi India. Regional MO has to make the decision on medical and / or furtherance requirements if any and final report to Visa Office. All of this process my take 1-2 weeks.

The clinic sent us a confirmation that they have already sent the medical results to CIC on Feb. 16.

When the 5th line was added in your ECAS for "Medicals Received" , was it a week after the clinic confirmed they had submitted the results already or a week after the actual date of your visit to the clinic?

Many thanks.

Thanks for sharing this information Skalair :) If I may ask, how many days/ week did it take for your ECAS to show "Medicals Received" after you have done the medical? i am a bit worried because my kids did upfront medicals back in June 2015 (results are still valid) but we still received medical requests for them (although the medical requests seem to be an automated thing). We wanted to send the kids to do the medicals again since we have received the requests but the clinic said the upfront results are still valid and advised us not to repeat it or else it might cause conflicts, one being CIC might question why we repeated when there is still a valid one....

ADVO is not answering my queries on the matter :(

In my case it took 10 days to appear the line as "medical received".

For your children, penal physician shall submit the copy of upfront medical, IME No. (which is valid) along with parents. it will form a complete medical file for the family. If panel physician is not making any reference regarding children upfront medical then it might be a problem.

Nothing to worry, if there would be any requirement Regional MO office will send you the email to take necessary action and will identify what to do. Don't chase the ADVO in this regard.

patience is the only key. Nothing will go wrong.

Hi everyone!

I just want to know if someone here was advised by CIC / VO to send an updated bank certificate or financial statement?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

VO may ask for updated bank statement in case of any change in family structure (addition) like when you submitted your PR application family consists of 2 member and later there is an addition to your family such as new baby born in your family and total sum of your previous bank statement is not sufficient to meet the minimum required funds as defined by CIC.

In 2nd scenario, if your financial statement is reasonably old and VO doubt on funds availability, he/she just want to be sure.
