PPR on 28.08.2013
Date on visa itself is 03.09.2013 - date when they received my passport.

Either there is return airway bill or wala courier fee has to be paid upon delivery of our passports , i submitted my passport Sept 3 and they received the next day.

I went to aramex main branch where i sent my passport, the manager said, he will take my passport back in their expense,,,,,inshaallah!

M worried because i sent my passport without the airway bill because of the aramex officer who refused to issue the airway bill. He said that if our passports are ready to send back, canadian embassy will contact aramex if the embassy is ready to release our passports. I insisted to buy the airway bill, but the aramex officer insisted also that their system is like that. It is my first time to transact with aramex and maybe this is the last. Since it is their fault, the manager offered that they will pick up our passports and return it to me after few days in their expense....which made me very worried.

Elena! Dont't worry at all. Once your passports are stamped, embassy will contact aramex and send it for you. Since Aramex clerk told you also; this means they have some procedure to follow as instructed by embassy. Just relax and wait for your passports. No worries

Hi Elena,

Dont worry mine is not received too , you can check from Aramex toll free there are few Kabayans there that can help you out , and second thing if we sent our passport with RPRF payment they have to clear the demand draft first before going through the Visa stamping so lets enjoy the moment of waiting for our MAGIC V.

Hello everyone....been following this thread for a few months now, and I would have to concur with most of the guys here that ADVO office is working swiftly with the applications. My family's application is in the same timeframe as Phoem and Juju....

We just got a little tied up with the medical. It took three weeks for us to be schedule by Dubai London Clinic.

Anyway, we got our PPR today and we sent them are passports also today (Sept 11, 2013)

FYI, here's my family's timeline:

As per ECAS: Started processing of application 16 July 2013
Medical request via email on 14 August 2013
Medicals done on 2 Sep 2013
PPR on 11 Sep 2013
Sent Passports to ADVO via Aramex 11 Sep 2013

Congrats to all the guys who have already their visas and to the rest, just keep the faith! Cheers 8)
