Does Background “in process” certified that your PPR is coming

I am PNP nominated, AOR 26th October 2015. Visa office Abu Dhabi.
Background in process since last Monday i.e. 21st March onwards.
Two queries please, after Background “in process” in how much time can one expect PPR one month or one week any general trend seen from CIC to your best of knowledge.
Lastly are there any case reported that the applicant got his/her Background “in process” and then got rejection from CIC, Does Background “in process” certified that your PPR is coming

in mycic I have only date of "receiving" and data of "in process"

No. Actually any can apply for GCMS. i did as well and i am in KSA. if you are in canada you can apply directly from CIC wesite. if you outside then you can ask some one in canada as your representative and he can apply on your behalf. OR you can use few online websites they will charge and send ur gcms on your email. takes around 40 days no matter which way you take. i opted the last method.

Congrats .. for BG in progress... no one can give you the exact answer. i think you can get rejections after BG in Process. BG is the indication that your PPR is on the way and you are almost there.

So ADVO is working with Late October Applicants.

so i have to wait for 1 more month may be to get my BG status to be in process.

trust me patience is killing me....

specially after BG went in progress, before that i was so relaxed...but since 17th march i have been checking CIC religiously day and night.
