My ECAS is showing

Sept 30, 2013. CIO received my application but another I got email from CIO on October 29, 2013 that they received my complete application with UCI/Application numbers starting EP00000000

March 17, 2014 - My ECAS showing In Process, Started processing my application on March 17, 2014 but til now i did not received yet Medical Request.

Any similar scenario here?

BTW i am living in Abu Dhabi and I am not sure if they will transfer my application to ADVO.

Please advise..

no need to worry yet usually after they start processing your application you have to wait atleast a months for the medical request. We got ours 4 months after the AOR. You will get MR dont worry
there is a big possibility that your case will be handeled by ADVO.

We're almost on the same boat, you're just ahead by a few days. Mine was received 9th October & processing started 24th, also waiting for MR. Did u receive any additional docs request? Please let us know any update you may have so members who are also waiting will have an idea/benchmark. Goodluck to us.

I did not receive any single email from ADVO for addl docs etc.

Waiting is worrying and frustrating. Hopefully we will get this April

i think joel, you and gkarl a friend of mine have the same status. cio received my application last nov 1, 2013 and my application turned in process last march 31, 2014. still waiting for medical request also. hopefully all of us can receive it soon.

That is definitely a good sign itguy29. For now you don't need to email ADVO. Just keep your self busy. As per my sister's case, her application turned to in process on January 28 2014, & got addtl docs request on mid February, & got medical request on 1st week of March.

Hello My Friends/Brothers,

I am sorry could not get in touch with you for a while. Well I landed on 26th March 2014 in Toronto. They took a while on Airport to process my PR as well as the goods to follow list. Following are few highlights:

1- Took EK direct flight to Toronto and thanks to Allah almighty decision of direct flight proved good
2- Issue in landing paper is sorted out at Airport. I just told PR processing officer and she corrected it by hand on my landing paper
3- List of goods accompanied and goods to follow MUST have value mentioned in CDD. Total MUST done at the end of the list.
4- For jewellery please do take pictures and get them stamped by cutom officer(similar should be done for any item which does not have serial no)
5- June/July is best weather for landing as weather will be great. Otherwise please be ready for harsh weather
6- Please start preparing yourself for Traffic Knowledge Test(G1 Test). This is a very easy test but it gives you photo ID which is must for child benefit
7- Open a bank account next day( I did this with TD bank). Required for proof of address
8- Applied SIN card very next day
