Wondering my PNP will be expiring soon is there a way to extend that as I don't know if they return my file for some reason.

Do you need to extend your work permit soon? If not, no worry. If yes, contact your PNP
I think you don't need an extension nomination unless IRCC returns your application. By that time, tell your PNP what happened and they will likely renew your nomination.

they r giving out Aor to people who applied in march, april is up next, may, june, July August September have long way to go. I hope they speed up the process cause covid is almost over now
