Those are great news. I think these CIC agents, don't have too much information available. My former job was as customer service agent and we had very limited information. I think is kind of the same.

Security section is delegated to the police (at least that's what CIC agent told me) and police doesn't update CIC on the process of Security until it's done

I called CIC yesterday and nothing they haven't started my security. My application was received on December 4th 2017. I think December applicants we will receive PPR in May. It seems that they are working on October.

My application was received on Dec 1st, 2017. I am at the same point like you. It's frustrating.

One more thing, my everything is passed (Eligibility, medical and documentation etc.). They are just passing the time by saying security check is not yet started. It should not take that long. I wish I get PPR very very soon. I did not get any update from them since July 2018 and the last update was regarding pre-arrival services letter.

Same here. I passed everything, just waiting for the Security since July last year.

it is strongly advised to be informed as ghost status before DM and PPR,otherwise it is hard to be graduated..

Don't look at the medical date. The most important date is AR date. It's 16 months passed for him so it totally right 15-19 months.
