I am a PNP PR outland applicant with AR date Oct 30 2017 and MP date Sep 17th 2018. My GC Key current status was 'Submitted' till today morning. Few minutes back when I checked it was changed to 'Application profile updated', but it changed again to 'Submitted' now. Anyone has a clue what must have happened?

I must be the ghost update. Congrats! You will get a PPR soon.

My Ecas got updated with 'Decision Made', but no new entries when I click on it and goes to next page. The GC Key account still shows Processing Background Check. Is there anyone with similar status?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if I can ask for an urgent process of PR application for an incoming trip. My sister in Japan will have her wedding in August and I'm planning to attend her wedding. My application timeline is shown below and I think PPR probably will come in May or June. However, I still need to wait another 4-8 weeks for getting back my passport, then I will need to have a landing interview. After all these, I can start to apply for Japan visa, which will take another 2 weeks or more. My PGWP and visa will expire on August 5 so I cannot apply for Japan visa before I get my PR. Can someone tell me if I can ask for an urgent process?

I called CIC yesterday and nothing they haven't started my security. My application was received on December 4th 2017. I think December applicants we will receive PPR in May. It seems that they are working on October.

They always say it's not started even though it might be in progress.
I called them last week, they told me my Security's not started, but yesterday, I got an update on my application. I called them again today, they told me my Security had passed

So I think your Security is already in progress.

Btw, my application is received on Oct 16th

Those are great news. I think these CIC agents, don't have too much information available. My former job was as customer service agent and we had very limited information. I think is kind of the same.
