I can't access my ECAS, .it asks for new home address and after that no information about my application.

What's happening??
probably because you use the wrong link for ecas.

if you use google search, the first one is address change, 2nd link is for check application.

This one is the right one

I called on March 8, and told me Edmonton about 6-8 weeks, but got phone call back will be on March 29 th.

So if you call now will be on Mid April.
We got a call back today from the Edmonton location and have an appointment booked in 3 weeks, despite the original 6-8 week prognosis. Still a while longer to wait, but it will be easier (and cheaper) than country-hopping or flagpoling.

Hi Congratuation! Good news to all of us.
Would you mind tell me, when you got MR request, what did you do? as you did upfront medical, did you go to doctor and ask for link UMI with IME?
or you submitted UMI through IRCC web form?

I read more into this and saw that even if you do not technically enter the US, the US logs it as a denial of entry which is a blemish you will have forever should you want to ever enter the US. I found this through a few different sources so it is giving me cause to either just wait for the landing appointment, or actually fly out and go somewhere, and then come back. I suspect it all depends on the officer you happen to get and the location you are wanting to flagpole through.

If others have more comments on this, do let me/us know on here.
I did flagpole for my study/work permits a couple of times, then went to the US frequently, not a single officer mentioned I was refused entry into the US at all. On the yellow note the US officer will give you, there will be a label indicating 'flagpole' on it.

Thanks for sharing. Happy to get personal accounts to know what I would be in for if we choose the flagpoling route.
