When it says A background check is needed Not needed at this time does this mean the check is getting done or not?

I have same question.

Some people said it means done , then BG will be back " in progress " when they do Security check for your application . This happens after medical check

I already ordered GCMS notes 2 weeks ago and it will show everything in my application

My husband will be travelling to Hongkong on Feb. 27. we didn't receive AOR yet.
How can we change the documents submitted under IMM5562E form - Supplementary Information Your Travel.

Prepare the form and send it through case specific inquiry.
You can send it without showing Application NUMBER and UCI

ONIP sent mid April.
Nominated Oct 28th.
PR Application Received by CIC on Nov. 14 th.

On Feb 1rst, received an email confirming my application has been received with UCI and Application No on it. The application number begins with EPXXXX. Is this an AOR? Since my online CIC account still says Review of eligibility-Review in Progress.

That's a little confusing?

And also, if this is the AOR, I already sent my open work permit application before i can wait on the AOR, should I send this again? Or they would be able to track this through internal systems?

The open permit side sent out a request asking for a $100 position holding fee but no other additional document. I'm not sure how the procedure works but if the only document requested are the fees, does that mean i'm close to get the permit?

My visa already expired and i'm on implied status. hope there's no more fuzz. pray...

I think,CIC need travel history till the time of submission of the documents,as its not mentioned anywhere(CIC portal) that an applicant has to submit the travel details after submitting the documents at CIC stage.

So in my views, the travel history for her husband is not required to get updated.

They will catch after PPR and ask question about foreign visit. So this is better to inform now.

I got nomination january,2017 now preparing for paper based application send to cic...i need advice about that 1. if i now married before send application to cic what procedures will be need
or
2.if i send application to cic as single and after that married before get pr visa

please advice me about the both situation.
