Anything can possible with ircc. My personal experience. First they attached my file with someone other applicant in BC. Then they changed everything like AOR and UCI. Without informing me. And then last to last week i called them agent told me your BG is in process on last stage. Then last week again called them agent told me security hasn’t started yet! There are two parts of BG. Blah blah blah. Really pissed off. My file is already in 17th month.

I have heard that they hire high schoolers and coops to deal with immigration files and handling.... Couldn't expect more than chaos!

Is this whole thing about processing office transitioning to BC true? is this why us the sept, oct, nov are taking so long because now ours need to be transferred to BC?

Yeah thats what i have been told by agent. He said there are two parts of BG you have passed the criminality and second part is security. One agen told me its in process. Then next week another agent told me security (second part of BG) hasn’t started yet. Its been two weeks ago. After that I didn’t call them and I don’t want to call them every time i call them with a positive hope. But every time they told me new thing (nagitive) and broke my heart and everytime i heard only one thing you still under 18 months process. You have to wait untill 14th june. As my file recieved on 14th dec 2016. So no words to say.

The same timeline here. They told me yesterday that my criminal check is done and they are now working on my security check. Medical not passed yet though.
