The processing time has gone down from 3 months to 1.5 months in very short time and if CIC keep continue this pace we should get it by the end of month but as you know many SINP applicant has lodged their application in May and which may push our AOR time a bit late, should get anytime around July first week. What do you say? :)

True. I also think that (realistically) we might need to wait till first/second week of July depending on the batch cutover to issue aor as well as on the email batch release date. As we delayed :( for a month to file, we need to wait for a month :)

Again CIC confuses me :). I thought the last batch cutover date was 1st May. So probably we might see their EP emails few days each week. And your email will hit your inbox soon. Good luck Victor.

I don't think there's any batch for AOR, it's like hand picking. They pick a file from bin... Check and put it in system and send AOR. Same thing happens in most VO also :P

Below A timeline of a fellow applicant. Just tell me your view on this and what would you do to get this kind of timeline? ;)

Vow...1.5 months from AOR date to get the sweet PR of life. Thats great.
Now my head is spinning :) on predicting timeline. So i am leaving it to CIC itself :).
Then this will make any applicant sent later also can get early AOR. Ok if this is the case then my application sent on 29th May will be handpicked tomorrow:) and getting my AOR tomorrow.

:(. vow. I agree that CIC wins again :). As we cannot check email every minute due to our work, i need to get a program written to check for cic email and rings a bell :).

:P :P there's a chance for you to get AOR tomorrow because I don't think CIC maintain proper order. So if your envelope comes first in hand than wow :P

Not sure what you are asking. Please explain. But you dont need to be in Canada to get your PR.
Are you in Canada on a visitor visa and applied for PR? If yes then i think your current period of 6 months will get over before you get your PR hence you may need to exit before your PR is approved. Overstaying on visitor visa will create issue. Also i think even if they are on work permit or on some other visa, they are actually travelling till the border to change their status to permanent residence as per many other forum posts hence it doesnt matter in which visa status you are currently in.

hi harirahmojan..! yes im a visitor permit holder... my ainp got approve before my work permit expired and have no choice but change my status because im in a 4 year cap... but then my certificate got approve and im no longer a worker... but still i apply my PR app to CIO... so im a bit worried now if i could still get an approval...my time line submission is April 21,2015 and waiting for file number or AOR.... is there any chances i get approve even if im a visitor permit holder now?

As long as you are in some legal status i dont see an issue with your PR application. If its based on employer sponsored then the employer should be still ready to sponsor till the application is approved. So no issues apart from that dependency.
Bridging gap - I saw in some other forums that people change to visitor status too during this gap but check with the people who are in canada and in this situation as i am new to this situation.
