Hi all, i'm the Aug 31st applicant here. I just wanna share my experience with you all. I got my PPR on March 1st and it's been a relief for me since the whole process took 21 months including province nominate. I did the upfront medical and i believe it was one of the main reasons that delayed my application. I've phoned the IRCC regarding the upfront medical and he told me that they have to make sure the medical wouldn't expire until the landing. Many applicants have to re-do their medicals because their medicals have been or soon to be expired during the processing. But yet the IRCC extended my medical but it will take extra time to process it. If you guys have any questions ,please let me know. Best of luck with your PRs!

Hi, It's a good sign! mine was changed from passed to you do not need a medical as well. You should receive a passport request within 1-2 weeks. I called IRCC and he told me that I did an upfront medical which has been expired. But they extended my medical for another year.

Hi, it took around 2-3 weeks for me to receive the passport request email when they changed my BGNA to BGIP. You will get urs really soon! It's just a matter of time. If you are still worried, you should call IRCC and ask for the update of your application status.
