I don't know what can be reason for my delays ?I called today today , they said everything is ok ,
Ppl says upfront medical is the cause and it needs to be extended but i don't think so ..
Really worried and frustrated , its too much....can't bear more..
BGIP still N/A.

At least you passed the medical exam, mine is still reviewing in MYCIC, and even nothing about medical exam showing up in ECAS

That's tricky honestly, I would just apply for bridge open work permit without indicating anything. You do need your PR application number though. I would still leave an Ontario address in the application materials, and do my landing at any POE in Ontario. Then move to Alberta for a short while.

Thanks for your reply. My address in my file is Ontario. My husband is a candian citizen and he is studying in AB. I have to move here temporarily until he is done with his education. Also, my contract in Alberta is ending within two weeks. However, I am actively searching a job in Ontario. Until finishing my husband's program, I am willing to stay in AB to be a research assistant or having a casual job. I have applied in September 15. But no hope to get my PPR. So, I have to extend my WP. I do not want to withdraw my PNP application, because I have spend more than 2 years for this application :'(

It’s been a month after they received my new passport update....
Didnt really expect upfron medical makes this long delay

Did CIC acknowledge the receipt of your new passport? I sent my updated passport last month and it hasn't been acknowledged yet.

Do you have any friends/families in Ontario? so that they can receive the work permit for you. I would apply for the WP extension today, file my 2017 tax immediately as well. of course, leave the ontario address on them and declare you are living in Ontario.
