This is for all of them who received 2nd medical request. Please do not panic as its a normal and ur upfront medical can be used for it. There is no need to do another medical. Just you have to do is send you emedical form through the webform, wait for at least a week and then contact to cic to verify if they have received your webform. It will take month to 3 to update on ur profile.
Good to know people are in the same situation .... not panicking, but it's just frustrating - if I had known I would have done an upfront medical 3 months ago and maybe it would be updated by now!! #justventing

Technically you can travel outside Canada with your one time immigrant visa, and then when you re-enter Canada, you can complete your landing and then you will get your PR card in 45-60 days, eliminating the need for going to US border or to the local office.
Dear Swappy,
Usually there is any time period to finish the landing formalities after PR approved?

You have to get your landing done before the COPR visa expires , which will usually be either the validity of your medical exam or the expiry of your passport, whichever is earlier.

Do you guys think is it real to get PR in less than 18 months? The CIC timeline says it is 18 months for the PNP PR applicants.... so long...
Are there any cases where a PR was finalized in less than 18 months, let’s say, in 12-13 months?
