Hey a question for those who get their ppr, how much does your security thing take ? Because it’s been a month now that they have passed everything in my file except security?? That’s frustrating.
Ar is 14 August
I called them today and agent said they haven’t started that yet

Everytime I called cic they kept saying security not started until I got a request for ppr 3 days after my processing time...

Two days before I checked ecas and it says decision made and after that I call cic and the agent said your security passed yesterday and as well they send me request to renew my passport bcz it wasn't valid more than 6 months and at the same day I sent them my new passport scan copy. And today it again shows in process. Anybody have any idea about this. I m July 2017 applicant very depressed in that situation

July 17th 2018- eligibility completed
June 21th 2019- medical passed( was told to redo our medical)
June 17th 2018- background check completed
July 15th 2019- ppr requested
August 2nd 2019- Application Approved
Still waiting for the return of our passports( 1 dependant). It has really been a long journey. I thank God...Good luck to those still waiting

Already 20 months passed .i went to my lawyer .they asked me to take help of mp .should i email to mp or not.is there any bad effect on my

Congratulations on your PPR approval. I will like to ask, is your dependent outland. The last time I call cic my background is still in progress and security not started. And was wondering if this could be the reason.
