Hey my medical change to not needed yesterday but still on ecas it says in process

Same here. Speaking with an agent she said that if the medical expires, the system automatically will change from passed to not need and probably it will be extended.
Other checks are all completed the agent said. The medical extension is the last step which is holding my file back and that's it
I think you should be fine in that situation then. Hope they won’t ask you to do another medical if other checks are completed.

Yea currently the cic account shows i dnt need a medical.Till friday it was showing medical passed.Rest all security checks completed.Only medical is holding up my file.

Today called IRCC, they told me the eligibility, medical and criminality passed, security not started. Four days after will turn out to be 18 months. Anyone has an idea how long the security check be? And what is the next step after pass security?
