Just want to ask who among of you who applied for bridging open work permit (paper application)? How many weeks did you wait to receive The acknowledgement receipt? Mine was delivered last april 29 but until now I haven't rece

True but, my security has been done already, my medical has been extended, and still in process... i don’t mind to wait another month but I need to go out of Canada end of June ... just want to be already with COPR by this time

Same with me I had everything passed and still waiting got ghost update on 14th may pissing me off

A very-very kind lady called me back. Part of background done (she didn't tell me which part) and they neither requested extension nor redone for medical, which is interesting because it expires this week. AR Dec. 7th, 2017.

still , that's better than nothing , the part has been done could be either CSIS or CBSA .
my medical which has already been extended will expire on June 11, maybe I will get another medical instruction, just wait and see .

Try to call cic at 8:15 est and press 3-4-1-0. It takes 2 min to speak with an agent for me today.
Guys, any idea about how long can this security check take?

2 min... WOW, I called them at least 20-25 times and it was never less then 25 min....

SECURITY CHECK IN PROGRESS. START AT MAY 17 TH.
SOME PEOPLE JUST TAKE 2DAYS . SOME PEOPLE 2 TO 3 WEEKS. WE KEEP FLOWING

Got mine on May 5 ..I had applied on January 22..it takes 3 months now

Never know how they working, I also applied on Jan 22 2019 and got approved on March 26 2019
