Waiting for PPR

According to this forum news and members posts, I came to know that it will take a little bit longer to receive a PPR however, I'm just curious is it compulsory to receive a pre-arrival letter prior to a PPR?

Same timeline..All same, Except my aor is 8.19, one day earlier than you

has anyone been requested to submit additional documents when you are supposed to received PPR? I had to submit an dependent birth certificate in Aug 20th. I am May 11 2017 applicant, should have received PPR in the end of Aug. Not sure if the officer will put me in the last of the queue if any additional documents submitted.

I guess they needed it to finalize. Your Ghost update should come after this. Hopefully your background check is completed. PPR should come soon.
