Perhaps you are right, but not in my case. For my application it's already past 13 days. I hope all applicants can get PPR ASAP!

You mean 13 days or 13 months? 13 months is too long. I can imagine your frustration. Did they request any additional documents?

I hope I am terribly wrong, and so is the immigration consultant who told me that, but she said that they won't open your file until it's dude date,especially if they requested additional documents.

I have seen a trend though, that there's a bunch of March applicants who got DM and yet no PPR, and late April applicants also havent gotten PPR. Who knows what they're really doing. It all depends on your visa office, the officer checking your file, and complications in each person's case. No point in worrying. At this time all we can do is wait.

When you have a notice under DM.or when they write that CIC will send you a letter soon,means that they have made their Decision.I will make 12 months on 12 of april. Hoping will have an email notification soon. I waited for a full year almost, but the last days waiting for it is being frustrating. Smiley

Congratulations to all that made progress on their applications. I really hope CIC and the various VO speed things up in the next couple of month, the waiting is killing me!

I come from Greece ,but other than this is a visa exempt country ,it has nothing to do with anything.My two cents is that the upfront medicals push the procedure to be a bit faster.

It's actually not GCMS they just phoned cic to follow up my application and the officer gave these informations thru phone.

Haha I know that is Sunday that is why i said 15days. Probably they change it at Friday. And today is 17th day after I did my medical.so I didn't look at ECAS until Tuesday or Wednesday.so anyway 15 days
