So sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he gets better soon! Work permit could take up to 5.5 months (I applied mine in late August, 2015 and did not get approved till January, 2016. Hang in there and I hope your father gets better soon! Sending some moral support your way!

Received my GCMS notes, still criminalaty in progress since march when they last update until now there is no updates at all in my profile.
anyways August 25 is the due date and there is no assigned officer.i hope they send ppr so atleast theres hope our application on line to received the pr.

Good luck team be patients is very important ,be tough eventually they have to give pr or rejected.
Like every body i am also depressed back home my dad is in hospital unfortunately i cant visit them due to my work permit expiry even the renewel of my workpermit is in progress for more than 50 days.its sucks.

huugh! sorry about ur Dad. God ll restore his health and u will laugh in the end. Patience is the key.

I am June 11 inland applicant.

Today I got second time additional doc request Scedule A for my spouse. At least now we know that they are working on June applications.

First doc request I got on 28th April

wanting to be optimistic, lets say that they took a long vacation, then worked on other many things, and now, they started to work on June applicants and what they do is open one, check all is ok, and then move on to the next one. See something wrong? they ask for another document, move to the next one. A document missing , send request to applicant, and move to another application. All is good, send PPR email, and move to another one.

Crossing fingers so they keep doing that, ''all good, send PPR email and move to next application''....

hope sending ppr is one of the things they are doing :

It gives the impression that it's no going to be any movement this month, again. Maybe CIC has simply reached theirs PR's amount for this year and an easy manner to reach the next amount it's delay last applications. If they are no on vacations, in my opinion, this is a good explanation for this, almost 2 months, stoppage.

I think the quota is not yet reached as they stopped during/after sep-oct and flood gate opened on Jan 2nd. So i am thinking we are still in safe zone. Not sure if they want to reduce some traffic on landing or dont know. Same happened during Mar-Apr wherein they were issuing ppr for april guys for 2 months. Now again there is a pause.
Too much confusion - dont know if its vacation or officers moved to different category application which is pending for longer than us or they want to delay a bit for some reason/downstream issues.

Will see next week (like this many weeks passed but hoping there is a change next week at least as its already stretched too much for June and now July too).

Why criminality is still pending? Did you send the pcc late?
What does the gcms notes say about criminality? Any notes logged in file about the review of criminality?
