It is fine to have a vacation time as long as when they are back to work, IRCC Officers are inspired to perform their job.

My concern is Canada Post and the Union, they should sustain a good negotiations so that work stoppage will be lifted permanently since they only agreed for a 30 days period extension.

For now we should keep our faith that we will have our PPRs soon.

Hi, wondering if someone could help me.

I am September 9 2015 inland paper based pnp PR applicant with work permit valid until July 2017. Medical passed. Waiting PPR. More details on my profile on left.

My concern:
I am going for vacation to India on Dec 10 and will be returning to Canada on Jan 10. I assume I would get PPR by end of September 2016 by Gods grace. But as of now I think it takes 50-60 days to get pR card after landing. So if I apply for PR card after landing by end of September I will be getting it back by end of Dec or beginning of Jan only. I don't want to reschedule my trip. So I was wondering if it's ok to sent passport on PPR, get it stamped and then go for vacation and then while returning do the border procedures. Is there any time frame to complete landing after PPR stamping. i did medical on 6th July 2016.

Usually they give VISA 1 year from the date of your medical. In that case, you are good to go.

April 10 applicant still waiting! It got very frustrating when most April applicants got PPR. Travelling to home country helped. After 15 months, I went to the MP, that was about a week ago because in my GCMS notes everything showed passed. The MP was helpful, and they sent an enquiry. Got a very positive reply saying it is in the final review. Today my CIC background status changed to in progress from not needed at this time. Feeling positive!

hello guys,
iam july 6th applicant ,need some opinion,waiting fro ppr,due to health issues iam going to india next week,my two dependants are in India,my doubt is once i reach India and i get ppr request,,iam planning to get visa stamped for my dependants in india and i have 30 days time to come to canada and send my passport to syndey once i come to canada with in 30 days,so my dependants will enter the country as immigrants and i have work permit and visa to enter the country...will this work guys ?

I am not an expert, but your plan sounds like it could work. I dont see anything wrong in it. Although when you get the PPR you are asked to tell them if anything changed. Do you need to update Schedule A again for travelling outside the country?? That´s my only concern.

By the way, if you get any information, please, let me know. We are same day applicants!! I hope we get something soon....
