PNP PR APPLICATION TO FEDERAL CIC - MAY 2014

Hi Sarm,
CIC does not normally request for another police clearnce certificate after 1 year except for medical reassessment.

THEY ASKED FOR NEW POLICE CERTIFICATE IN MY CASE AFTER 9 MONTHS. SO YES THEY MAY ALSO ASK FOR IT IN HIS CASE.

Hi Cheem5903, I am in the same boat, I applied on May 16th, status is medical received even now. Don't know when are we getting good news.

Hi cheema5903 and sarm, me the same. I applied on May 2, 2014, still medical received. I made the phone call to cic, but they won't check the progress with me. They said it is not 16 months yet. So frustrated...

Got in process at last, status was updated yesterday online, it reads in process since June 1st 2015

I have send my PNP application with approval letter in June 2014, got PR Visa in march this year, planning to move in August. Anyone received PR visa ??

Hello Xpang and Sarm , its very weird those who applied way after us already have there residentship. Many of my friends who applied 2 months after I did , they have already received PPR. lets hope this month might bring us some good news .
I also called CIC they told me exact same thing , that now its takes 16 months

Can anyone tell me what happens if Passport request does not happen even after one year completed after medicals are done, do we have to medicals again?

serm, usually they send passport request after 4 to 5 months of medical received, but i guess you r waiting since august for PPR,
Medical results sens to cic have validity of one year only, so have around three months only, if PPR request will not be sent within this time frame they may ask you for re medical.

hi everyone...

CIC requested for a new FBI and it was sent 1st week of June.

Ecas shows in process on June 1st.

How long will it take for CIC to reach a decision? Our Medical will be one year by July :-(.
