I received the passport request (PPR) today, however I am my status is still IP.

Is there a possibility to do landing in Toronto? I do not want to leave Canada for landing. I heard there is a office for people living inside Canada to land. Is it true?

There are local cic offices in every province..they offer the same service..but by appointment only..u have to call cic 1-888-242-2100 and book appointment for your nearest office.. usually it takes longer to get a slot..

June 30, 2015-Additional Documents-Schedule A & RCMP finger print
July 2, 2015 Schedule for Rcmp finger print (it takes 15 weeks for background check)
January 08, 2016- Passport Request

Anyone in a similar situation ? , I have a complicated application as i had to send extra docs twice which were last reviewed on Nov 4 2015, I also have dependants and still don't have dm, it's been 16 month since I applied, I called cic and they told me there was a note on the file which said satisfied we were not inadmissible to canada but they are still waiting for the final decision, i called again jan 5 and they told me someone is dealing with the application , not knowing how much longer this will take already feels like a lifetime waiting ..applied September 12th 2014

hi I rang them today and they told me all my documents are looking good and that my medical is being assessed and they will be intouch soon ,but not sure if that means I might have to redo my medicals because it has been over 12 month hope not even more delays.. and what is gcmc note ?
