It is not unsual to get PPR 4 - 5 weeks after DM. Sometimes PPR comes before DM, sometimes its a few days and sometimes it is weeks. I'll start getting a bit nervy after 6 weeks. I won't quite worry much just yet. Whatever the case, it never hurts to contact an MP
Thanks

no news for me why i don't know

i am sep 2014 applicant

just ecas show : application received and medical received

when will show : IP/DM/COMPLETE

Hello everybody!
I've applied for PR under SINP in September 2014
After I've sent my medicals, we received the shedule a back due to a mistake, then we fixed it and they got it back.
At August 10th I've noticed that our status is "decision made "
Now we are wondering who knows how long will it take to get the final letter from the cic because nothing so far...

We are applying from inside Canada and live in Saskatchewan for 2 years now (under SINP category )
Since we are from Israel, and have a non visa with Canada, I understand that they won't ask us to send the passports so as I got it we just supposed to get a letter from them....

Who had the same ot a similar situation?
Who knows how long could it take to get the letter?

Thanks!

i just want to ask how long it will take to show on ECAS the status "Complete" after landed and confirming my permanent residency....i landed last August 12 2015 and still Decision Made show in ECAS...

Hi friends I have some personal question from GCMS note: Please answer for me:

1. My wife previously refused two times open work permit from back home, is Case officer concern about her refusal
2. My wife refusal can effect our PR application
3. From the notes what is case officer impression about our file
4. Which stage my file is now, begging or middle or last
5. On the top the notes said Level: Eligibility what does it mean
6. Activity 1 said review required and Sub-activity/Activity type: Eligibility EC-QC/PNP so what does it mean of course I got SINP nomination that's why I applied
7. At the end the note said: AUTH PAID REP ON FILE – EDWARD RYAN REFERRED TO PS FOR REVIEW what does it mean
8. Should I become worry any parts of the GCMS not

Do you need to send passports or did you just received a letter with the landing instructions?
If so, how long did it take to get it from the day that you're status became DM ?

ABSOLUTELY NOT!! ;D ;D
Relax, dude.. there is nothing you can do that would make the officer to speed up the process and/or make any decision.
panic and frustration will not do you any good. Do more useful things while you're waiting, earn and safe more money, upgrade your skills and network, etc. if it is your destiny to be success in Canada, nobody can take it away from you.
cheer up and pray ;D ;D

Nice quote buddy. Good one.

Landed last night finally, wasn't the greatest experience...Lots of attitude and flexing of muscles it seemed..not to mention the US guys took their sweet time giving me what I needed while watching TV..

Doesn't matter now though, its done..and I'm a PR, best of luck to everyone.

Congrats!! My landing was very smooth. Only one there and no one showed attitude. Really helpful in giving me the welcome package.

Good news everyone.

I got PR confirmation letter today.
It was issued on Aug 21st, 2015.
I submitted my PR application on Oct 22, 2014.
Good luck to everyone who is waiting for PR.
