Lol. there is nothing confidential in it. He is just messing with you. Its the forms with the medical email that are important.

Sorry one more question. My spouse works on spousal work permit and is she eligible to apply for work permit extension along with me? or she needs to apply once mine gets successful? Thanks in advance.
I guess you both have to apply for the work permit extension at the same time. But do not forget to include an explanation letter that primary applicant also applied for work permit extension!!!

At this moment work permit extension is taking nearly 100 days both online and paper application. As you have work permit till October 15. I suggest you to wait till last week of September. If you still haven't received the PPR, then file for work permit extension. So when you file your work permit you will fall under implied status and your work permit is valid until you get the result of your work permit application. This buys you another 3 months of time. Hopefully you will receive the PPR by then. In case your PPR is delayed, still your work permit will be approved and you can stay legally in Canada. If not you will have to restore your status. If your PPR is delayed and work permit is rejected you will have 3 months to restore your status. So you got enough time.
ALL THE BEST!!!
To be on very safe side, there is no harm in applying the WP now.

Did you do any research on how long it usually takes? I thought it should be within 2 weeks after DM, but obviously i was wrong.
I have seen people who got PPR request the next day when application was made decision and maximum it would be not more than 30 days. So, probably we are in next week queue for PPR 8)

How about your findings?

I think PS means Prescreen, the transition period between Application Received and IP.
