There are some countries that don't have to send in their passports to receive PR, there's a list on CIC's website. Persons from these coutries also don't need a visa to visit Canada.. The site doesn't allow me to post links, but just google 'visa exempt countries'

The ‘Passport Request’ letter instructs the applicant on how to send a photocopy of the bio data page of their passport and, if applicable, the bio data page of the passports of their accompanying spouse and dependent children.

And YES,

officers are 100% on holidays, we had our RPRF request on 25th May together with PCC, sent on 4th June. IP since end of May and complete silence, nothing so far...

i have one question to all friends

i m in canada as a close work permit

so my wife from back home apply 2 times open work permit and she was refused both time

can it would be bad effect on our PR application

GCMS note :
it says PA applicant got married 2011 he also live other country before came to canada

it appears PA and spouse have never lived in the same country in the course of their marriage
they have elected to live separately since they married in 2011, I fail to see the any H&C measures to reunite them now

well, at least cic didnt question the authenticity of ur marriage. that's good. they just feel it's not nessessary NOW to unite a husband and a wife as you guys have been seperated for 4 years. what a wierd officer.

Showed several times.

Sept 30th received by cic.
Feb 17th AOR.
Mar 20th Medical received.
Jun 20th upfront PRRF.
IP/DM/PPR waiting

my wife was studying best university in our country thats why we didn't think to apply when i was other country before come canada

so when i came canada and her study was complete then i apply for her open work permit and she was refused

CIC is back to work! - Guys Oct 16th applicant here. I received RPRF, copy of passport, Schedule A and PCC. Weird enough, I received email to complete my medicals( if i've not done so). I obviously have done medicals. Progress peoples. I'm excited. Getting all these done today and mailing PCC

But at the bottom says if I have already submit all this documents then I can ignore this. Its just reminder. I already submit everything when I submit my application so what should I do now ? Please any one urgent

It won't affect for the or process. I was in the same situation my wife got rejected twice. Third time was the charm . he he. What I noticed was the previous 2 times I applied was in the 3rd quarter of the year. But the third time I applied it in January and got approved.
If you get interviewed for PR make sure to show all your lovely chats and emails and stuff. U know

I also received the same email with the document attachment. It says on top "passports" but then it says "Do not send Original Passports until requested by CIC". This is so confusing. They have almost asked for everything from me. Schedule A filled again, RPRF, Passport, Police clearance certificates (I already submitted with my application),

Can anyone advise on what to do regarding this.
