CIC (Sydney) received PR application - September 22, 2014
AOR - March 17, 2015
Medical request (CPC-Ottawa) - May 8, 2015
wow congratulations still waiting for my MR

My friend got his AINP on January 6 2015. His CIC file was received on 7 May 2015.

He is willing to change his job with this current employer.

Does CIC enquires about the job status and Does he needs to inform AINP since hasnt got his AOR yet.

He wants to change his job to a different NOC. From Drafting Technician to Truck Driver.

What are the consequences.

Please advise: thanks

i would suggest to put everything on hold until he get his pr. so many cases they ask
additional docs as well as at border they call to your current employer. 2 cases i know that
at estevan sask border immigration inquired regarding employment.
keep carry on instead to change. he might get trouble or lengthy reprocess.

Hello Folks,

I am new to this thread. Is it for regular PNP Application?

I am an inland applicant and probably, going to receive my nomination from NS by the end fo the week. (Regular -NonExpress Entry Catagory Nomination)
Moreover, in August, I am also going to complete one year, and so will get 486 points in Express Entry.

I want to know from you how much duration it takes to process the regular paper application in Federal? Has Express Entry stream affected in a big way to this stream?

Thank you.

Express entry is definitely faster. CIC has a 6 month mandate to complete the process for 80% of the applicant. IF you think you'll hit 1 yr within the next 3 months , with 486 points you should get an ITA. I'll do EE. Start applying for your PCC for countries you lived in outside canada to get a head start. US FBI PCC takes 4 months
