I got nomination for North West Territories and my file was received by CIO on Dec 31. My CC was charged on April 21st.
The best way to get such information(XEP# on phone) is to call and then describe that you did apply PR under PNP and its 4 month, You haven't received any acknowledgement. After verification, When they pull out your information then just ask for any reference/file number(in between) if it shows on their system. If it is asked in beginning they will refuse. Plus it also depends on call centre agent that he/she is cooperating or not. I called several times and and finally one call centre agent told me XEP# on phone.

Hello,

I contacted CIC and talked to officer. She told me that she can see in he system that my file is opened by CIC on April 15th and started to work on it.

She told me to wait little bit to get AOR.

Now..I don't know what to do. I am worried because everyone is getting except me.

Raj dont worry while AINP we were together and now also ur just back to me so for sure you will get ur EP very soon .....

I am exactly in the same situation. However CIC call centre agent gave me XEP# on the phone that I can't use for work permit extension unless I get email confirmation(Acknowledgement) from CIO.

Under which province did you get nomination?

i would suggest to apply fr wp ...in either case you ll b getting close wp now../ bcz : for bowp one needs to apply 4months bfre the xpiration of current wp

i m pretty confident either you ll receive it tomorrow or this week max

dont think of it too much...leave it now, and you ll get AOR when you even dont think of it, its always the case wed me too

they have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within four months;
they are the principal applicant on an application for permanent residence under the FSWP, the CEC, the FSTP, or the PNP (see note below);
they have received a positive eligibility assessment on their permanent residence application under one of the Economic Class programs above; and
they have applied for an open work permit.

Hey budddddd,
You are still new to Canada, try not to point finger anyone on forum, take care of your language use...cut, copy, paste doesnt make you a scholar on the forum...like what wrong info i have provided? If a person knows of this forum, he/she knows about the CIC website and whatever you have copied here...you didnt do a HUGE thing, that people dont know, everybody knows this!!! We are here on the forum bcz we want to know more than the website and the info we are getting over the phone...We share our timelines and our own personal experiences to get to know the processing, procedure, steps involved in the process...
I have told him about the "4 months ahead application for bowp" , and this is what is on the website too...however, my personal wp is refused, and i shared my mind that he ll be getting a "closed wp" anyways...bcz his situation is the same as mine and a few others...
I know what it is, and i m advising him to get ready for it otherwise he ll suffer like myself!

My brothers applied for his study visa online and just got passport request with following msg in pdf letter

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.

• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
