Hey bruh

Does your ecas say 6 lines ?

Yes same situation 16th Dec, Doc request 28th Aug.

Have 6 lines and still in progress, Case Agent initials DS, I think Michelle888 also is in the same situation I think perhaps this case officer is on vacation or something.

just sit tight and wait i guess, nothing else can be done.

when you sent the additional documents to cic, did get any reply from them say"they have already received your document? i heard from someone said they have, but when cic receive my additional document, they didn't send me any emails.

Hey they never will say that they have received additional docs ..never ..the only thing that you can do is to get the signature when delievered via Canada post or ups . . Or by call ..that's it ..

Cic is so silent today ..I believe there 'll b a rain of DM and pPT by the end of the day ..late night ..

Mine is 6 lines same as wy19900807
Dec 24 applicant..still IP no DM yet
But I did receive an email from cic saying they received my additional doc and attached with my file..and my application is forwarded to an officer to review/....
so what's wrong with 6 lines? other applicants who is already DM or PPR got different lines?

I know that my additional Doc were received 03 Sept because an Agent told me when I rang to speak to them on an unrelated matter.

My doc was sent on Sep 15th, the day after the officer requested, ( I emailed, faxed and mailed to CIC)
the "received doc" email was on Oct 9th...

Hi
So I went to complete "landing" at the border. I went pretty late (12:30am) friday, so there was no one there at all.
I was in and out (out canada-usa-back in canada) like 30mins. I was walking PS
On the US side I just told them I was flagpolling. I wasn't asked any questions, just waited till I was given the piece of paper that the border officers needed
Canadian Officer was nice and tired, asked the general questions (have you been arrested, has any thing changed since DM). Made small talk about immigration (and the "joys" of the process) and then had to sit and wait while he did his thing. Very nice guy, even apologized that he was slow coz he was tired and almost off his shift.
After that he congratulated me, asked me to signed the CoPR and told me the PR card would be sent to my address.

Important point --- I asked about travelling and return before I got the PR card. He said you can get the travel document when you are outside, but there's no posted processing time, and essentially said it's gonna be easier/ less stressful to wait for the PR card than trying to deal with getting the travel document. I cannot use my multiple entry visa to return into Canada anymore as my status on that document is no longer valid

I've decided to just land and wait for the PR card. The trip can happen anything but I need PR status more to deal with work stuff.
Hope this helps people about the PRcard and travel document question

For those of you still waiting.... you're almost there just be strong a little longer

thx so much for that information xD Im still waiting for my copr n passport to come back. but i been thinking abt qutting soon and going on vacation outside canada before i received my pr card... i guess i cant do that now T.T

We are in the same boat... Dec 15 applicant, IP since August 28. No additional document requested, however, I sent my updated schedule a when they asked for the RFPR fee.

Contratulations! And thanks for the information :)

I think the only option to travel for christmas would be doing the landing once I come back. I dont think there should be any problem with that... Anyway I would ask first to make sure. But first I need to get the CoPR before is too late xD (fingers crossed).

Is there a due date or time limit to do the landing once you get the CoPR?

Thanks again.
