PNP PR APPLICANTS JANUARY 2015

Guys,

I've been following this thread for quite sometimes now and decided to join as I found people in this forum are quite optimistic.

My 1st concerned is, based on CIC processing time for pnp applicant is 15 months. When should we start counting? The moment we sent our application in or from the time we got AOR from them?

Sent mine on Jan. 16 and received on the 20th.
Received my AOR on May 20th.

Thank you all guys in advance and May this New Year brings us our moment of breakthrough.

You mean that you did not get any communication after you received your file number? Did your file get transferred to some visa office?

Yesterday I saw on the news the Inmigration minister saying that they are planning to finish in 2 weeks all the paperwork for the first 10,000 refugees coming to Canada...

Lets see if we see some movement in our applications after this...

For the first 10000 refugees, all the paperwork is already completed. Not all have landed in Canada yet -- Even refugees are saying they need more time to travel... 10000 refugees will reach canada by mid jan.. I think for us, more relevant statistic is number of applications approved..

they still have to bring 25000 refuges by end of feb
so still 15000 more to go

i too want to hear something good in coming weeks, but i just dont keep my hopes high now.

Hi harajmohan, I did get communication from cic I actually have six lines on my ecas last communication was document request prior to that was medical received. Just wondering when should we start counting the 15 month period from the day they received our application or the moment we received our AOR. Mine received on Jan. 20, '15, XEP on April 15 and AOR w/ EP on May 20th. So, when should we start counting? Thanks.

Ok. That is a puzzle i think, which call center people also use it to stop us asking "when will i get my passport request".
I think that Jan applicants need not worry as DMs and PPRs are pouring for Dec14 and 2014 remaining applicants hence it wont even reach 15 months from application date for you all. So let us wait for good news in a month.

Where do you see PPR pouring for Dec 2014 applicants, there is no update from them for almost 2 moths. CIC is busy with refugees and EE. Anything submitted via paper has lower priority

I agree that Aug-Oct was slow and later in nov-dec Apr&May2015 applicants received MR and reminder emails. So now DMs for ottawa applicants hence they are now attending 2014 ones (and in many other VOs).
True, paper based are now low priority but what to do we have to deal with it.

Those aren't old PNP paper applicant, they are all FSW applicants??

2015 paper applicants are faster than 2014 applicants even they are paper based. see my time line and another advantage is my application is processing in Abu Dhabi but timeline for Abu Dhabi applicants is 19 months, but my application took only 11 months.

1)We received your application for permanent residence on February 4, 2015.

2)We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 1, 2015.

3)We started processing your application on June 1, 2015.

4)We sent you medical instructions on September 14, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

5)We sent you correspondence on September 20, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

6)Medical results have been received.

7)We sent you correspondence on December 31, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible.
