PNP PR APPLICANTS JANUARY 2015

Wondering how many of us have not got any query yet from CIC? I know in some cases they never ask any additional document if submitted documents are good enough but still. Also, is there going to be any difference in the processing period of files with the ones who got Query / additional documents request and submitted and the ones who never got anything apart from medical received updates in the ecas. Just Wondering and trying to be patient. ;D

I didn't get any additional document request either..
Last time I heard from CIC was in August for paying the RPRF...

Better to be patient... I dont think nothing is going to change before next year...
 
One of my friend called CIC and they said right now all focus is on bringing syrian refugees and our applications will be handled in new year.

I think that they have a nice reason now to tell us so that we wont ask them more about our case.
 
Just an update: One of my friend who applied in October (Family case) got his PR today. There's something happening at CIC, maybe not for January applicants but at least its good to know that they are working on some other applications too except the refugee cases. :)
 
Hi Guys

Is There any updates for Jan Applicant in past few days ?. In Nov 10 Cic asked my wife pcc which I submitted on 30 Nov. I am 12 Jan 15 Applicant.
Please let me know if some one got similar document request .

Your profile look similar to me. Even I have my wife as an coapplicant. I applied on 27th Jan.
PCC was submitted along with application. Sent updated schedule A on oct 6th and that was last communication. IP since Aug
 
Got my GCMC notes today in an email. It took them exactly 30 days to send these notes. It is a very long 29 page document. Looks like the most recent update on my file was on October 6th and the paper file was transferred some where on Nov 13. From what I understand, Eligibility, Medicals, Criminality , and RCMP statuses are passed. Fees is paid. They received all my additional documents on time and there are notes from someone accepting them.

The only thing that says 'Not Started' is Security. Latest update on that was in May. Once Security is passed, I will have everything completed. I don't know what this Security thing even means.

Everything looks good guys. They are just busy with refugees or I don't see what else could be slowing them down.

Here is my timeline which I think I share with 3 other people here.

PR Applied: Jan 26th, 2015
Medicals Received: June 16th, 2015
Documents Requested: Aug 17th, 2015
Documents Sent: Aug 18th, 2015
In Process: Aug 19th, 2015

21, 22 and 23 are my lucky nos. Lets see if we can get some update on those dates :P :P :P :P

I applied on the same day, 26th Jan 2015 and my GCMS notes mentioned the same thing; everything else has been passed but security. Last update on security was on May 24th, 2015. The refugee thing has been started since last 2/3 months but I wonder why didn't they update our security since May!!
 
Well, I just asked for my notes like two or three days ago. So I'll get them in mid-january. We'll see what my notes say when I get them. My permit is expiring on Feb 14th, so most likely I'll have to get a new work permit.

We can still have hope, but I honestly don't see anything happening for a while with the refugees thing going on.

(And like always, I wish nothing more than being wrong).

My permit is also expiring Feb last week, 2016. I have already applied for a Open Work Permit which is taking 4 months. I recommend you apply for that asap. There is no guarantee with PR. It could take all the way to April.

I like your positivity Jstar1 but I dont think our lucky dates are coming this month. Its either Jan or Feb now
