So I was browsing through a random thread and saw that another January applicant received PR. He/she received COPR December 8th

It has been really quiet here guys. If we don't start seeing any DM's next week, looks like we are moving to January which is an extremely frustrating reality. This is a typical example of public/government enterprise system where planning and processes are broken from top to bottom and no one knows/cares to fix anything.

I also saw a January 27 applicant who only had 5 lines in his tracker and had almost the same timeline like many of us and recieved his DM and PPR last month and landed this month. So far, there has been 2 January applicants who have received PR but they seem like the odd cases.

I hate to say this, but they are getting slower and slower, not pick up a single step.
Just from the PR card processing time we can tell how slow they are so far... It used to be 49days and now is 71days... Geez...our time is also time, everyone's time is at the same level of being precious...

It's really frustrating to say the least. But what can we do the reality is that we are on CIC time

I highly doubt that we will get anything before even Feb'16. They are not even done with some October applicants.

I don't think either... how hard can it be in order to do security check!!! not as hard as what they are doing now!
we might need to wait after 15 months... so sad, desperate, and mad...but nothing helps at all...

Melanie, I don't know if you have looked at the last update on the security check part of your GCMS! On my GCMS notes, everything else, i.e., eligibility, medical, criminality, etc., have been updated on October 1st but security part was last updated on 25th May which means nobody has even looked at it. Refugee things have started like last 3 months ago but I don't understand why didn't they started security at all since we submitted our applications!!

On my GCMS notes, everything else, i.e., eligibility, medical, criminality, etc., have been updated on October 1st but security part was last updated on 25th May which means nobody has even looked at it. Refugee things have started like last 3 months ago but I don't understand why didn't they started security at all since we submitted our applications!!

I don't have my GCMSnotes yet... I ordered it on end of Nov. so won't be able to see it til Jan I think. But i will let you know when I got it.
by the end of August, my eligibility was not even started yet... they are working so “effectively".
