I assume we are talking about Ottawa/Sydney office applicants because outland is streamlined and going fast and smooth.
Any inland Jan applicants waiting for MR ( and/or missing documents such as updated passport and pcc)?
I doubt that cic has sent requests to all. I may be wrong but lets find out.

Yes, inland indeed.

I do believe that all January applicants received the RPRF & PCC reminders already, and that we all are in IP.

Could be wrong of course.

Most of us are in IP now. As you said earlier, we might be PR within October...another 2-3 weeks for DM and after DM, 1-2 weeks to get PPR. Anyway, any idea how long it might take to get the PR card?

As of now PR Cards are taking 3 months to arrive.

3 months? That's long time. I have a travel plan. I guess I have to postpone it. Can we get out of the North America with the PR visa stamp on our passports? I have from a non-visa exempt country.

btw, your profile shows "Got PPR!! But have some other complications before becoming PR.".. What kind of complications you are talking about?

Anyway, thanks bud.

Again, I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive you can travel with you confirmation of landing. In fact you can change your sin number and do every "resident" stuff with that paper. I would need to confirm on the travel part though.

Thanks man. I will check before I travel.

Hi,

You can go out, but you would need to apply for a visa at the local office. You can drive to the US and come back with your COPR's. No visa required then.

I was in my home country when I got PPR, so all that got sorted out and landed successfully. Looks like need to change my status.

In case you are travelling on an urgent basis you can ask them to process your PR Cards on an urgent basis. Here is the link for appying for the same:

hey guys, I am asking for your help again...
I just ordered my GCMS notes online, and I am currently live in Canada.
when I ordered it, I select "Access to Information Act'' and I paid $5 for it. but I heard people saying that
I should order it under "Privacy Act"!
can you please tell me if I did it right or wrong plz.
Thank you so much!!

Thank you for your reply. I was afraid that this may delay my application process.

Paying and getting delayed would be more hurtful :P. Don't worry it will work out well. Hope you get your PPR request before you get your GCMS notes!!

Expiring PCC:
Not sure if i had asked earlier but please let me know if anyone sent the expired pcc (that is, greater than 3 months old but issued after application is filed)?
PCC takes 3 months to get it hence asking if i need to keep on applying for pcc every 45 days.

Thank you so much vegasIndian. My Canadian visa has been expired. I am not applying for visa renewal now as I am scared that they can call for PPR anytime. I got IP like 2 weeks ago. So you are saying I can travel out of North America with my COPR?

Nopes. You shouldnt have a problem. Send them the PCC and they will ask you in case they need again.

What I am saying is that you can go Via US. Travel to US via Car and from there out to where ever you want. COPR is fine in that case. If you want to enter Canada from Air and Sea you would need a permanent resident travel document to re-enter without PR Cards. See this question answered in the CIC helpline. hope it helps.
