Realistically, it might take around 6-8 weeks to get DM.

Seems about right ! Wouldn't mind if it is a bit less though

We received your application for permanent residence on January 12, 2015.
We started processing your application on May 11, 2015.

Fistillarte, if they don't get slow, we might get DM within 4 weeks. I have seen some Nov applicants got DM from IP within 4 weeks.

Hi guys,

I have a question for my friend. He doesn't have login for this forum.
My friend just got laid off. His status shows In Process. He is also a January Applicant. Will it affect his PR process?
Alberta Nominee. Strategic Recruitment Stream.

Not on CIC side, but they could check before issuing DM from AINP if everything is ok, and they could contact your friend, and you get the idea. Hopefully it won't happen.

BTW, how is Sansa doing ?

Thanks....I get the idea.
I guess AINP could call the applicant to find out about current job status, If AINP has been asked to do so by CIC.
Am i right?

Its about the legal status maintaining within Canada as long If this PR is not employer sponsored.

No. Its not employer-sponsored. Its Strategic Recruitment Stream. AINP.

Then its all about maintaining legal status on some visa/permit if chosen to continue staying inside Canada.

Hey guys, I have a concern about my PCC, if you know about it or have some opinion please let me know. As we all submitted the application in January, I also submitted the PCC together with the application package. Till now, as I got the remainder email, I updated schedule A form and paid RPRF, do you know if I need to send PCC again? I don't know how long it's valid for, till now, I got one from my home country in December and one from Canada in January. Thanks guys.

You dont need to send your home country PCC again, once you submitted with the application package. CIC does Canadian PCC itself, so dont worry about it. Only thing that matters is when was your PCC issued? In your case, it was issued just a month ago in December 2014, so there would be no problem at all. Usually PCC is valid for a year. And if CIC takes more than a year to finish your application, its not your fault. They wont ask you for PCC again.
So relax. You are good to go.

Lots of Oct/Nov applicants are getting DM within a month after getting an IP. I guess we will get DM within next 3 or so weeks. By any chance, any January applicant got DM?

I assume we are talking about Ottawa/Sydney office applicants because outland is streamlined and going fast and smooth.
Any inland Jan applicants waiting for MR ( and/or missing documents such as updated passport and pcc)?
I doubt that cic has sent requests to all. I may be wrong but lets find out.
