PNP PR APPLICANTS JANUARY 2015

Hey Guys,

I have applied for PR which was signed for my registered mail on the 30th of Dec. Still no AOR. I brought my PNP letter to extend visa to the Douglas border and they were only able to extend it by 90 days because I didn't have any AOR. I was told as soon as I have it, I can extend my visa without having to pay again. Does anybody know how long I can expect to wait? My work visa is due to expire on the 9th of May and I am getting a little anxious!

Could you tell me if you brought anything else with you or did you just bring your PNP letter. Did you bring some kind of written offer of employment or letter of employment from your employer? Also when you say PNP letter do you mean your certificate or did you get a different letter from the PNP office? Did you bring any kind of prof that you had filed your applications with CIC like a receipt of payment or post office tracking number.

Also what border crossing did you go to?

For what I have been monitoring, the wait time for the AOR is now 4.5/5 months. So it seems like our lucky dates are going to be around June. Hopefully the total process will take less than the 17 regular months.

I submitted my application on Jan. 23, 2015 via my agent. No news so far! Not even when the application was received by CIO.

Exactly. Well, time keeps passing by, it still seems that our AOR will come in June. But soon January applicants should start seeing some credit charges (I paid in advance so it won't apply to me anyway)

stating that my application is now on process.

January 19 2015 reached my application to cic

Update, I just got my AOR !!!!

Application received January 16th, AINP nominee !!!!

Things are moving fast, this is a good day

I wasn't expecting any January applicant to receive AOR 'till June, so this is huge !

Hi Guys,
I got the same E-Mail today,
Application received January 22, 2015.
Since AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt, and that the letters sent to us acknowledge that our applications are received, complete and that they are now in process, shouldn't we say that these letters are AORs?
Moreover, they also acknowledge our Payments.

I have two questions:
1- I also applied for work permit but its been declined (stating that the nomination letter was expired when i applied) bcz i applied for work permit on first week of Feb. 2014 and my nomination was valid until first week of Jan. 2015. SO, i called and they said i ll b receiving a letter following the steps i need to take. on phone the agent said: Provide either AOR or get another nomination letter? I got my AOR later today but when i called they said, the application decision is closed and that i ll be receiving letter by mail soon. NOW? What will happen? If it says "stop working" then i ll stop working? or will it say to submit AOR with this or make NEW application (including restoration fee?) In this kind of scenario, what will i be doing? Will it affect my PR application (if i stop working)? Do i need to ask for the extension of my nomination letter from my province? or What will be it like? PLEASE, i am so much(

2- If this XEP....... is my AOR? so, this is my file number? Can i check my status of application with this? or whats the steps?
