PNP ( Paper Based ) now or wait for EE in few months ! what is best ?

Hi Friends

I have a hope to get province nomination in the next few weeks as PNP officer contacted me and asked where they should send the file to
however , if I wait till April 2017 my score for EE will be around 465 which is not bad for the next draws

Which road should i take ? what do you advice knowing that PNP process may take up to 12 to 16 months with some possibilities of errors and reviews
while EE is electronic and it takes only 6 months

on the other view , a bird on hand better than two on a tree ( who knows what will happen in next few months for EE )

i appreciate any feed back or guidance on this
do you know anyone may have withdraw PNP based application after getting an ITA for EE

Dear, I went thru the same situation, like you rightly put it, a bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush!!!

I got my Nova Scotia paper based nomination and I went ahead for it, I didnt pay upfront, I only gave them the credit card authorization form... 2 months later, I got my Ontario Express Entry based nomination.

So I first sent an email to the CIO office (thats where they process paper based PRs) to cancel my NS paper based application. In the meanwhile, I accepted my ON nomination on my EE profile and went ahead with that. I was relieved to learn that there is nothing wrong it going ahead that way, check the CIC link :

So, my advise is, go in for the Paper based..... let Express Entry come when it comes. U can never bank on the scores to come down and loose your Paper based nomination.... You would kill yourself if u didnt get the EE draw.

Yes after I posted the question i found the link were they say , it is ok to go with both Paper based and EE and whichever comes first the second will be canceled , i guess for them as long as you pay the fees to cover the processing cost they have no issues ,

Once u get application number, u can use Case Specific Inquiry to correct name

Wait till u get application number follow steps and update the name
