what was ur friend timeline who got ppr last week? he applied on aug 5th?

I'm really curios what will happen next. No PPR last three weeks, only ghost updates and DM at the best. Will it be COPR or PPR rain next week? Maybe next week will be silent again?

I hate this silence, not knowing whats happening, monday is a day off again. Hopefully we should hear something tonight or on tuesday.

Guys, I called cic, and they said if after 4 weeks from DM and there still no email for either ppr or copr, the agency they can do something for me. Mine was DM on Oct 20, she asked to call back on Nov 19 if there still nothing update..

PPR is passport request email. Then you send the passports for approval and you get it back with CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent residence)

I got my DM during the last days of October and I called CIC today to check if it is possible to know if the decision is positive and the immigration officer said that all requirements I passed (Eligiblity, Medical, Criminality, and Security) and it i's a favourable sign to indicate that the DM is positive, but only after receive a letter is that I will know.

This letter wll be sent anytime during when the DM up to February when the processing time of 19 months will reach its limit.

Now, I have just to wait.

They used to send PPRs in batches, sometimes even after 7pm Ontario time, so there is still a chance for tonight. I am so so happy that my waiting is already over because I got my PPR in July... however a friend of mine is still impatiently waiting so that he can finally visit his family ... I hope your and his waiting will be over soon!

My question is that if we keep waiting until 19 months, however the processing time on Cic I website increases up to 24 months at that time.
Back to July last year, I did remember the processing time is 15 months. The estimated processing time doesn’t make sense. Feeling anxious

You can ask the Agent directly.
They can say that your application is approved or not.
Try to call them again on Tuesday.
